I’m most excited about seeing the Hoth battle in Hi-Def. Especially the canon blast that leads to the immortal line, “the first transport is away.”

I can’t wait to see the trench run in Episode IV on Blu-Ray!
It’s still the most exhilarating sequence out of all the films.
The attack going through the bowels of the Death Star in Episode VI is a close second.

Which scene I’d most like to see? Hmm, now if I were a bloke I’d have to go for Slave Leia in glorious HD. Hell, even as a girl a bit of me thinks ‘Oh yeah’.
As myself… Think it has to be the battles on Hoth; the whole Hoth stage even. From the Wampa beast to seeing just how repulsive a Tauntaun’s insides can be in Hi-Def ickiness.
I want to see Luke topple that AT-AT on Blu-Ray, that’s what I’m looking forward to, the whole fantastic fight that sealed Empire Strike’s Back as a high point for the series.

It’s hard to pick ONE scene from my favorite movie of all time, The Empire Strikes Back. But when it comes down to it, there is only one scene really. The Lightsaber Battle between Luke and Darth. (yes, we’re on a first name basis.) That is the scene that has hooked me since I was 6 years old and still LOVE Star Wars today. I can’t wait to see this, plus all of the deleted scenes, like Luke building his lightsaber in Return Of the Jedi. AWESOME!!!!!!

Am I the only one who wants to see Obi-Wan get his head chopped off in hi-def? I mean I know he’s a good guy but that’s one of the things that made Vader so scary, if he can beat Obi-Wan, what chance does Luke have? Plus, head rolling on the floor= AWESOME!
Chris J says:

I really love the space battles, but something about Luke and Darth Vadar’s Light Saber fight in the room where they Frozen Han in carbonite will be what I’m looking forward to. Star Wars was my favorite movies as a kid and I still stop on a channel that plays then on tv. My son has taken on my love for the saga by making me buy Lego Star Wars for him. I hope my force is strong to win. It would be a great Birthday present for him.

Well, I am looking forward to the scene in which the clones are being inspected by Obi-Wan in Episode II.
But a another scene that I am very excited to watch is the Opening Space Battle scene in Episode III.
I’m hoping that George Lucas has put “easter eggs” in those scenes, because the Clone Trooper scenes I think are the best out of the whole series(excluding SW The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network).
I think that the clone wars shows a lot of personallity of those who are invovled in it, and it shows true courage, true power, true evil, and true hatred. The 4 most combining elements in humanity.

The one thing that I’m looking forward to the most, are the deleted scenes. Especially what happened between the death of Jabba and when they’re leaving Tattoine.
Second would have to be seeing the small details in that first introduction in Episode 4 where you see the Stormtroopers enter and you start to notice things, like scratches and Darth Vader isn’t as shinny as you once thought. You can sorta notice it in the dvd’s on a bluray player, but native HD would make it look so much better just noticing all the small details from the opener.

Empire is the best film in the series.

As much as I’m looking forward to seeing the whole saga in HD (Episodes 4-6 in particular), I think the scene that will look the most amazing is the opening of Episode 3. That space battle with Anakin & Obi-Wan was the best part of the prequels and and was the level of pure awesomeness that Episode 1 should’ve opened with. LOVE that scene!

Deborah Curran says:
Sep 15, 2011
Early on in Empire Strikes back – The Imperial ground assault on the Rebel base on Hoth is certainly one of the most exciting action sequences in the whole series. Can only imagine how great it would be in high def – My son doesn’t even know star wars yet — what a great way to introduce him to the series

The scene I am looking forward to the most in stunning HD is the utmost intimate and beautiful scene in all six movies. It is the scene in which Obi-Won-Kenobi delivers Luke to Owen and Beru Lars, and as they hold him for the first time they stare off into to glorious sunset. In this one scene Gorge Lucas proves that Star Wars is more than just action, it actually has a heart.

Oh man, Blu-ray Star Wars Saga is going to rule! I seriously cannot wait to see the appearance of the Ewoks from Empire Strikes Back in full 1080p HD Blu-ray glory! I am hoping that they will be so highly defined that I will be fooled into thinking that they are real and that I am right there with them in the forests of Endor, resulting in me trying to hug my television because I just want to snuggle up with those furry little monsters! I will be that much closer to achieving my unrealistic dream…Yub Nub!
